Roy Bailey — Director/Solicitor
Roy Bailey is one of the founding Partners here at BLZ Solicitors.
Roy qualified as a solicitor in 2017. He completed his degree at the University of Central Lancashire. He then completed his LPC whilst working full time for one of the countries largest banks. Roy then undertook his training contract at a specialist Industrial Disease law firm in Cheshire.
Roy has previously worked at a variety of small and medium sized claimant firms, where he represented claimants in pursuing compensation for Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) – or industrial deafness, as it is also known. He headed the NIHL department for a small law practice in Bury.
Roy then went on to the Defendant side of NIHL claims, working for international law firm, DWF LLP, where he represented some of the biggest Companies and Insurers in the UK. Most recently, Roy has been working as an Associate in the Financial and Dispute Resolution department of global law firm, Eversheds Sutherland.
Roy has always been passionate about the law and it has always been his desire to open his own law practice that was committed to helping claimants get justice. He brings his wealth of claimant and defendant knowledge with him to BLZ Solicitors in order to help Claimants achieve the best possible outcome in their claims.
Roy is a friendly and approachable lawyer that always makes time to chat with his clients. He speaks in a completely jargon free and down to earth manner.
In his spare time, Roy is a keen triathlete. He has challenged himself by completing not one, but two ‘Ironman’ triathlons - a 3.6km swim, followed by a 112 mile bike ride, then a marathon at the end. He is also an avid supporter of Manchester United, and plays 6 a side football on a weekly basis.

Zeeshan Zaman — Director/Solicitor
Zeeshan Zaman is one of the founding Partners here at BLZ Solicitors.
Zeeshan qualified as a solicitor in 2014. He attended Manchester Metropolitan University where he completed a Law LLB (Hons) degree and the Legal Practice Course.
He has worked in the legal industry for over ten years with experience in the fields of industrial disease and personal injury.
Having had a family member suffer from an industrial disease he is aware of the damaging impact having such a condition can have on quality of life.
He is motivated to obtain justice for his clients and getting them the compensation that they deserve. His core belief is to achieve the best possible outcome for every client. He takes a detailed and efficient approach with a strong focus on client care.
Outside of BLZ Solicitors Zeeshan is a passionate Manchester City football fan having watched them from the terraces of the Kippax with his father.

Timothy Lee — Director/Solicitor
Timothy Lee is one of the founding Partners here at BLZ Solicitors.
Timothy qualified as a solicitor in 2015. He completed his Law degree at King’s College London and his Masters in Law at BPP.
Timothy previously worked at a leading law firm in Cheshire specialising in obtaining compensation for victims of industrial diseases before spending five years working as an Associate at various leading international law firms representing major insurers.
He brings a unique understanding of handling personal injury claims having worked extensively for Claimants as well as Defendants.
His highlights include working on Sumner v Turtle Wax Limited (2017), a complex Noise Induced Hearing Loss claim where both sides’ medical experts were cross-examined across three days leading to a comprehensive Judgment which determined what conditions would be appropriate to undertake a Cortical Evoked Response Audiometry (CERA). He was most recently involved in a five-day occupational stress claim which received national press coverage.
Timothy undertakes a detailed and methodical approach to all claims with a strong focus on achieving the best possible outcome for his clients.
Outside of work Timothy enjoys being kept active by his young daughter, playing the piano and reading non-fiction.
